Introduction

The Rhythm Charts catalog covers all 150+ launch songs across five difficulty tiers (Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, Master). Each chart entry lists the song title, difficulty, BPM, note density, recommended holomem leader, and best strategy for full combo. Charts unlock as you progress through story chapters and complete achievements; Master charts only appear after clearing Expert with full combo. Use this section to plan which songs to grind for leaderboard scores and which holomem to assign as leader for each chart type.

Core Mechanics

Rhythm charts in hololive Dreams use a falling-note system where notes scroll toward a judgment line; tap, hold, and flick notes must be timed to a per-chart timing window. Difficulty rating (1–15) reflects note density and pattern complexity rather than song tempo. Expert charts unlock after clearing the song on Hard with at least 70% combo; Master charts unlock only after a full-combo clear on Expert. Practice mode lets you slow charts to 0.5x with auto-judgment for learning patterns.

Advantages

Charts provide a structured progression from Easy through Master, with each tier teaching a specific skill — Easy for timing, Normal for hold notes, Hard for flick patterns, Expert for cross-hand, Master for streams. The Create Chart community feature means new songs and patterns keep arriving after launch, extending the leaderboard meta. Practice mode at 0.5x speed lets you learn any pattern before attempting it for score.

Challenges

Master charts are intentionally brutal and may take dozens of attempts for a full combo; don't burn yourself out chasing leaderboard rank on day one. Some event songs are time-limited and missable — check the event schedule before assuming a chart will be available later. The practice mode doesn't grant score, so it's purely for learning patterns.
